* Working Girl

I have no right to complain about my quality of life when I can get away with wearing this to work, especially since I’m not working a street corner. The little blessings in life are what truly matter, and – despite opening with a joke – I don’t mean to be the least bit sarcastic about that.
My sweet ol’ doggy, Boxy Ba, passed away two nights ago. Instead of being a downer, I’ve decided to live my life as happily as when he was still a young pup absolutely dominating the nothing less than expansive backyard of my childhood home. I still plan on calling his name whenever the glee bubbles over, and I pray that he gets those fabulously long legs that he (and every other Doxie) has always dreamed of! For all those who know and love Boxy, if you could utter a hopeful something for him, I will love you forever.
On the outfit: Forever 21 baby doll dress (100% silk, actually, with a very nice hand), thrifted clip-on earrings (not always confined to the ears) and thrifted neck-tie (just as suspected: not always confined to the button-down)
Now, get out there, people, and do work!

Ah, Iris, I loved that look too! Beautiful basics with creepy-crawlies are the best. And, dear Connie, thank you for being a such a good pal. Roxy Ra must be very happy right now. :’)

Oh my goodness! Iru! I only looked at your photos the first time I saw this, but I just now read the Boxy passed away. He was a very sweet dog, and I’m sure he and Kit Kat would have been the best of friends. Ruff ruff meow meow. I love you!
